We have grown up in a society characterized by constant over consumption, so whether we like it or not, the blood of the victims of the climate crisis and the loss of nature is on our hands too. The Overshoot Rebellion is our chance to take a visible stand against the status quo and demand change.

ELOKAPINA RETURNS TO THE STREETS ON MAY 6, 2022

During the Overshoot Rebellion in May, we will protest and practice civil disobedience in a more diverse and influential way than ever before. We invite everyone to join us and address our demands to the Finnish government.

  1. We demand the government to include consumption-based emissions in Finland’s emission reduction targets.
  2. We call for reducing the use of natural resources to sustainable levels.
