Elokapina – Extinction Rebellion Finland declares a climate emergency in Finland. We are living in the midst of an accelerating climate collapse and are prepared to act with the seriousness the situation demands. We present four demands to the government, the media, and society as a whole. We use civil disobedience and nonviolent direct action – alongside other democratic means – to bring about the necessary systemic changes in society. We are part of a global movement, Extinction Rebellion, and our activities are based on the movement's shared values and principles.
